I wonder how much Guy Fawkes' ideas were idealized or romanticized in V for Vendetta. Everything I hear about the Gunpowder Plot can be so biased. But, I guess none of that really matters, because all I really care about is learning to twirl daggers in such a fashion.

Yes, a long time since I have updated! I am getting very lazy with my livejournal it seems...
Jericho is on now, so it is going to take a long time for me to update, haha! I am on my president's break now, it's a week long. I am going back to school on sunday. I am getting fat and lazy staying at home, and haven't gotten any of the homework I intended to done. Instead, I fixed my playstation, played Vice City a lot, played FF a lot, watched Smallville a lot, and hung out with adam a lot. It's been pretty productive!
I had to dogsit on saturday, and on sunday I had to go to my dad's house in newburgh. They made us all go to a modern art museum, although my dad said that we were going to just go bowling. So honestly, modern art is the most pointless crap in the world. Seriously. When it's hard to tell what's the exhibit and what's just...something someone accidentally left there, you know it's bad. It reminds me of a part of Fairly OddParents when Timmy and his dad are on an elevator and timmy says "When are we going to get to the ride?" and his dad says "This IS the ride!". Same thing happened in South Park with the "line ride". My brother kept getting yelled at for leaning on the artwork, but we realized eventually that we couldn't tell what was artwork and what was...just a wall, haha. At one point, Spuds said "I used to like modern art until I learned to draw better than that"
My dad took us bowling after that, but he started freaking out because we were apparently on a time budget. So he wouldn't let us finish our third game, and kept yelling at us to hurry up even when the ball hadn't come back up yet. So that was annoying. Then when we got home, we had to wait for dinner to be ready, so that was a pointless hurry.
Rachel was having a birthday party so adam and I tried to get out of there ASAP. Nothing like 8 screamind twelve year old girls to drive me and adam out of a house. Spuds had a friend come over, a little ginger kid named Olive. Adam kept going on and on about how she never spoke, but as soon as I sat down at the table she ended up talking to us all, lol.
The rest of my week was spent lazing about. Oh wait, no, I went to the RV show with mymom and brother, nancy, pete and jer. There are some cool RVs...it's been awhile since I've been to one, and they've advanced a lot, lol. Also, Ron from Jellystone was there. I was hoping it would be patty, but...oh well. Ron is okay, and he seemed friendly.
Today I had a dentist appt. and now my teeth feel skinny. But after that, I went to see megan! I tried to call heather, but couldn't get in touch, so meg and I just went to get chinese food and walk around wal mart. Isn't our life so exciting? But we also played DDR a bit, and I brought my memory card. I am basically going around form DDR to DDR and collecting saves, haha. I already have some from meg's and some from rachel's.

YAY!!
I haven't had an actual snow day since I left high school I think! It's all YAY! I am looking forward to the snow, although I am upset our Valentine's Day will be wet and stuck inside =( We had plans!! haha oh well...reschedule them for another day...
This means I can catch up on my homework! Isn't it sad that that's the first thing that comes into mind?
Last night was christina's birthday and Meg and I bought her a cake! It is so tiny, and there is still half of it left over, lol
I CANT WAIT FOR SNOW! AND CHOCOLATE!

Ah, so get this! I just finished a game called Actraiser for SNES, and it is a weird game, and was to start with, but it just got a whole lot weirder.
The basis is this: you have to build up a civilization by directing the people how to build and develop. There are two parts to the game: Simulation mode, where the people build their town, and action mode, where you fight the monsters that are threatening them. Each town is made up of two acts: the first one ridding the surface monsters from the land, allowing people to move there, and the second one, destroying monsters that are threatening the already developing civilization.
When you are in simulation mode, you play as an angel who watches over the people and periodically goes to their shrine to listen to what they have to say. In action mode, you play as a guy with a sword who is fighting the monsters, but at the beginning of each act, the guy is just a stone statue, and then a ball of heavenly light brings him to life. At the end of the act, the light leaves him.
So yeah, to me, it is a hilarious game, haha. But it was intriguing and definitely caught my interest.
Now at the end though, I finally beat the boss, who is...I think a demon, or actually I think he is more like Satan. But now it is bringing me from town to town and telling me like...what lessons have been learned by the people and stuff like that. It's also funny cause there are a lot of typos in the text XD such as "The Master" saying "...they on longer need our help..."
Now, I think the purpose of this game is to...make the player aware of God? wtf? It must have been released by a church group or something to try to make children like "oh yeah, god rocks! Yeah, he'll send down an angel to shoot arrows at things that are buring your house!"
I'm at a part where Master is like "let us look inside the shrine" and the leaders aren't there. and Master is saying like how they are so quick to turn to us when they are in need, but now they ignore us. Is this right? "People may be more happy when not in need of help from their master, or when they have forgotten him. Should we yearn for a time when people no longer need to ask for out help?"

Today was an okay day...kind of plain, lol
I am getting kind of upset with my judaic studies class. I don't like history, and this professor makes it tedious cause he is completely random and goes on tangents, and doesn't really focus on if anything is more important, so who knows what the quiz next tuesday will be on.
Linguistics was pretty cool! We started phonology, which is like...word structure and where sounds are. Okay, so it's dorky-cool. Like, get this. Hold your hand in front of your mouth and say "kite" (which phonetically is spelt [kayt]). You shoudl feel a puff of air on your hand on the "k" sound. Now, hold your hand in front and say "mike". AHA! there is not as strong a puff of air! Why is this?? Well, phonology shoudl help explain that (i hope) Also, here is something! Say the word "fan" and focus on the "a" now say "fat" and again, focus on the "a". Hear the difference? Now, say the words slowly with emphasis on the As. They sound different (or they should) because the "n" is a nasal consonant, and that changes the a before it!

After that, I went to the camps senter and donated blood. I realized a bi to late that I may have donated a bit too soon, lol. I think you are supposed to wait 58 days before donating again, and...I can't remember the date of my last donation. But oh well. I found out my blood pressure is 142/64 and I have no idea what that means but...if that's ever a final jeopardy question, you know the answer. The lady who was taking care of me was talkative, but kinda quiet sometimes, so I wasn't too sure of what she was saying and it took me awhile to answer the questions. Also, she had to ask for my phone number 3 times because at first I gave my moms, then my dads, then my cell, which was the right answer.
As long as I don'tthink about the needle I am pretty good. I just wish that there would be someone there to stand by me that I could talk to, cause then I just focus on the sensation I get from it, which, while not particularly painful, is far from comfortable.
After the blood-giving, I went to sit and read. The book I am going through now is kinda crazy and it leaves me going "wtf" a lot, lol. Then I had chorale, which wasn't a good time for me because of the fact that I was missing a pint of blood, and therefore got dizzy whenever I took a deep breath. Also, pobably unrelated, my mouth was really dry =/
After chorale, meg and I walked to her room, where she got ready for work and I started off to the seminar on Technical Writing. That was interesting and enlightening, but I am still unsure if I would enjoy doing that for my future. I'll have to get more info.
The lady reminded me of Mrs. Espisito, my 8th and 11th grade english teacher, lol.
Dinner was kinda crappy tonight. It was supposed to be "cultural heritage night", but as far as I was concerned, it was a tad racist. Fried chicken?? Come on! lol and Mac n Cheese? What culture is that? Oh, yes, celebrate your american culture! Newsflash: America has no culture! It is a brutal, sloppy conglomerate of other cultures run by prudes and puritans that does nothing but fuck up the rest of the world.
I got all that from dinner. wow.
AAAANYWAYS, after that, I got an ice cream sunday for megan, went to her room, and left it in her freezer. Then, I caught my bus, and now I am back here! I plan on posting the preface to my new story tonight, we'll see how that goes, lol[mud]:  sleepy |

This is what I saw the first moment I walked into my room!!

MY ROOMMATE!! This is like the BEST COLLEGE NEWS EVER!! And my room is a double so yessssssss!!!~ Dan had mentioned movin out last semester but I didn't think he was too serious but apparently he was! He keeps shouting "MAT HAS NO ROOMMATE!" whenever I see him, lol. He says I am doubly lucky: I have no roommate and I got rid of him :P lol
The only bad thing is that if I am assigned a roommate, I won't be notified and I'll come back here and there will be some guy here, lol. OH and another good thing! A class I am going to sign up for has a spot open! The only bad thing is today they decided to stop the add/drop period, only to have it start again tomorrow, lol. So I will wake up at 6 and get that class!!! Then I will only have one that I am unsure about!
So yesterday I woke up at about 9 to get to albany early. My dad stopped at my mom's house so I could pick up my stuff. I was gonna complain about my dad a lot but now I am in to good of a mood to complain! lol Anyways, we got to my moms house and she didn't want him to come in, and I TRIED to make him stay outside but he came in anyway, and talked to her for like...40 minutes. We both wanted him to stop but, of coure, he didnt. I got to play with my doggie and my kitty though! ^_^
Oh yeah the night before I went to school, I made this

I haven't used my legos in way to long, and I realized that once I started building with them, lol. I love them so much, they are so CREATIVE!! Most of them are at my mom's house though.
Oh yeah so we got up to albany, dad took me to my room where I saw GOOD NEWS!! and then we went down to price chopper and stuff. OH! When we were first going into albany, dad was looking for a particular bagel place to eat lunch (*coughjewcough*) and of course no regular place would do, only that particular place. So we get there and I just want a bagel cause I'm not that hungry and he's like "no, get a sandwich!" so I ended up with pastrami. It wasn't that bad though.
When we got into albany, the clouds were soooo dark and morbid, and then, randomly, it started to rain and the wind picked up like crazy! Trees were bending, the ain was coming sideways, it was madness! At one point I definitely almost got pushed over, I had to lean into the wind.
So I went uptown and got some of my books for the classes I am definitely taking. I started reading a story for my judaic studies course and it's actually..a story! and it's good so far! Also I got my child behavior problems book. I really hope that that is a good class. I'm usually really good in psych classes.
Megan came soon after and I helped her and her dad bring stuff into her dorm. We accidentally left a pomegranite in her fridge which ended up on her desk and it was alll ewwww!! it looked like some internal organ in a zippie bag, lol
So meg stayed over last night, and then today we went to the mall! she was trying on dresses for the PHS formal that for some reason I really can't wait to go to! Maybe it's cause it will be like another prom, and since ours sucked and megan didnt get to go, it will be better, lol

Well, true to his word, my father did come in thijs morning to wake me up at nine. But, little did he know, i was already awake!! HAHA!! Jokes on him!! Hahaha!haha...ha. yeah.
i actually woke up at like, 8. I dont know why i always wake up so early. W/e. So, he said I had to look for a job. He told me this at like, ten, and i didnt leave until 12:30. Staling is great :)
So, I went out, got a few applications, even filled a few of them out, and then just drove....no where to go. Eventually, I had gone too far to even look for a job,c ause i was like, all over ulster county. I went to Rodendale, and looked at the caves, and then i jsut followed that road and ended upo in New paltz again! On the way home, i realized how stupid i was..I coulda seen Batboy then, i was there at like, the right time, but i didnt realize that till i was on my way home.
So, anyways, I wass still looking for the mines that Mr R took us to that one trip, and after going back and forth many times, I finally found them!! I didnt want to pull over and go check them out yet, cause it may be tresspassing, so I'll save it for the night time.
I also stopped at my moms house. I walked in, and there were these guys tehre and i was like "whoa, mom! I leave for a day and you bring home strangers?!" but then i realized that she wasn't even home, and they were intstalling our new fireplace :) YAY FIRE!! this could be fun!!! AND its a gas thing, not wood. woohoo!!
I finally got my caramel latte from DDs when i went for an app. It sucked!! but hey! at least i didnt waste my own money buying it.
I finally went into that shop today in Stone Ridge that I have admired from the outside so much, but never got a chance to go into. They have cool candleholders outside that look like dragons, and I want them, but my mom wont let us get them cause she says they're horribly tacky, but I don't think so. I didn't see how much they were, but it doesnt matter...they sere so great to see upclose.
I stopped at Peter's market, which sells health food stuff, and I saw Ms B[ellantoni] pulling out, and I'm like, oh damn it. Luckily, she didnt see me.
On the way home, I took another rt. down a road less traveled. Well, I've been down there once, but I was in a hurry then and didnt have time to look around. But then I went on another road where I havent been before, and there was this sign that pointed down a side road and said "Romanian Monestary" and I'm like...to do: check out the monestary.
So i turned around and went down the road, totally ignoring the "Road Closed" There wasnt much there, but i didnt follow the road to the end. But i did see these two ppl out on the front lawn of a house, and they were bald/shaved, and i'm like "MONKS!!!" I can die happy now.

Oh, I am SO screwed!! I have 2 days to do my final paper, which has to be 10 pages long. I have 3 pages, and its only saved to the skool computer. I'm not gonna be in skool tomorrow. I have enough time to save my file to a disk, and then I have to type 7 pages at home that night...but, w/e! I can do it...bullshit is my middle name...Yes, my parents hated me ;) So, yea, thats my curent rant.
Other than that, skool was fine. Pretty laid back....we watched more of Big Fish in Comp today, umm. Yeah, thats everything of interest.
Now, my other rant. Amanie thought it would be cool if a bunch of us could hang out one day this week/(end). She wanted Erica, Evelyn, Heather and me there. Unfortuantly, me and evey have full weekends, and there wouldnt be much time to hang on other days after skool, so we were thinking maybe we could skip skool and go to amanies house. Also, in NP college, they're putting on the show "Bat Boy" which i really wanna see!!! And its free, but this is the last week....i need to convince mummy to let me....

Well, I ddin't go bowling tonight. I was supposed to, but I couldn't and I blame my mom for it all although it isn't her fault.
We had to bring little Peter Wegrzyn over to this performance he was doing this evening. His clas in skool was dancig in this little recital thingy..it was cute, but..grr...
We thought that it started at 6 and that it would last an hour. But LO!! It started at 7 and lasted 2 hours! And so, that kinda overlapped with my bowling time stuff, and so I jsut admitted defeat and decided I can't go. Se we stopped at a diner, sat at the spinny-stools, and it was fun. I had meatloaf, although that wasnt that great, and cake which was exellent!
While I was wating the extra hour for the recital thing to start, I decided to go on a job search. I filled out an application for DDs, and that loooks pretty good, and I also went to this restaurant called the Rosendale Cement Co., and that was awesome!! The guy who I talked to (who ownes the place) was very gay, but very cool anyways. He had run out of apps., but he took my name and # and gave me a tour of the place. It's so nice, I wanna work there now!! Except Roendales kinda out of the way...

ANYWAYS, back to before everything was deleted....
Skool was boring today. First period I spent trying to find a backdrop for my frontpage. It must be perfect, although I dont know the point of it. That's about it..I couldnt find a good one though...
in english, Ms B let us all chill for like, 20 mins., and then she made us work!! I'm like, dude!! you can't do that!! And befoer that, Jared insulted my music and kicked my desk and then he and Allysa POKED ME!! I...I feel so abused!! I think I'm gonna cry...
Lunch was fun as usual. Talks of Hwather and Air being lesbian lovers turned into heather raping air, talkiing about the upcoming BP/orgasm party but...well, yeah, that's enough.
Skipped half of art today to finish a duel with Eric in the library. It was mucho intense!! lol. In art, we played Hang-a-roo, which I'm about to go play again now.
In comp, Ms B did it again!! She let us chill, and then forced us to read out loud!! ell, it was worse actaully..Jaqueline read out loud!! I would rather listen to Fran Drescher!! and she kept cracking up, which was kinda funny (laughter makes me laugh) and so, yeah. Umm, I have a feeling we were having another enlightening conversation, but I'm not sure. I have a very bad memory today.
I drove evey home after that..she needed to change casue her skirt was making her self-concious. w/e, so i chilled there for awhile..She showed me her Tivo!! I want one!! Its sooo cool!! So yeah!! i know what i want for my graduation present!
After that, we went over to the Rivoli to rehearse. It went pretty well today! I got to see my costume!! Its an awesome tux with a sparkley red vest and bow tie! The only thing..pants...very tight!! I'm like EGAD!! Now I can sound like a girl when I sing!! Maybe for the show I'll wear better boxers.....Why am I writing this for the world to see?
I did my song and dance, realized it sux, so i have to work on it again. Afterwards, I went upstairs and looked through all the cool old stuff oup there. I found a script of like, my favorite play!! What the Butler Saw by Joe Orton..it's soo great...nudity, transvestism, cheating, scheming...so great! And, they fake orgasms in it....ahh yes, reminds me of the lunch table all over again. That sounds so wrong!
So anyways, I was looking around upstairs and I realized: that would make such a cool coffee house!! They can tear down soem walls, fix it up (heating, plumbing, electricity) and it would be awesome!! We could get a bunch of ppl to co-manage when I have to be at college.. The only thing is, it would cost a lot of money to fix up... hmmm...
Well, that's about it. Afterwards, I got ice cream from stewarts. a pint..oh, movie quote time!!

Not much going on today. It's cool right now because I am in a very cool room! Dur. I love the skools basement.
I'm sposed to be doing a report for art today. I finished it like, a week ago, but I've been chilling in the comp. room jsut to get away from the art.
I haven't updated recently, and I probly won't for awhile. I usually do it when I get home, but lately I've been so tired and it's been so DAMN HOT OUT! I jsut go home and go to bed, or lie on the couch for like, hours and hours. very once in a while ill go online, but never for enough time to write an entry.
Skools boring. I had really bad heartburn all through C and D period, so in English I was like, squirming in my seat a lot. And the nurse wasnt there so i couldnt even ask for like, tums or soemthing, but Jred said she wasnt allowed to give me them anyways, so w/e.
Lunch was interesting, as always. We were trying to decide whether Evey looked more like a nurse or Maralyn Monroe with her dress. Umm....that's about it.
I was very subdued today. I can't wait to go home and then to sleep, but I have to go to rehearsal at the Rivoli today. AND I'm gonna miss a new Smallville tonight!! The First part of the season finale! Grrr on bad timing.[mud]: tired [myuzIk] ♪: art class talking |

Well, first period, Yettru locked her keys in the room AGAIN so we had to wait. She stands near us and is like "Well, I guess I'm gonna have to walk down to the office to get a spare then"...she was soooo waiting for one of us to go for her! I'm like, yeah right. So then heather came in and took over my comp (well, is it taking over if I offer it to her?) and she was going to like, hotornot.com to check out guys, and if anyone in the office was watching what i was doing they'd think I was gay! I'm like, thatnks heather :-P
In the lib., the Erics got mad at me cause i got Sabourin tio make us file magazines...theres this awesome MAD mag. with LOTRs in it!!
English we had a crappy essay to do. So stupid.
HEHEHE...in lunch, I let heather borrow my car to go to Stewarts, and everyones like WHAT'S YOUR PROB!?! When air found out, her eyes got all bugged out :):) But Heather came back with ORANGE SODA!! I'm like, blessed lord almighty thank god!! So i was on a sugar kick for like, the rest of the day... interesting enough lunch convos...everything from Jared's ass to popping cherrys....

okay....art class.. we were in the comp. room "researching" and somehow halley started talking about how green M&Ms make you horney or something, and supposedly it's true! (after much internet research) so that was...well, weird.
In comp. we saw this kid get taken down by a cop outside the window!! Oh, I felt bad for the kid though!! I know who he is, and he's autistic!! but still..it was pretty funny!! He pulled all these mission impossible/James Bond moves! and he almost psyched out the cop!! Then he laid ont he grass for bout 15 mins. and a bunch of ppl carried him inside. Oh, i feel soo bad for him.
Don't ask what happened in comp..i wasnt paying attention. Oh, except Ms B read part of my esssay. It made me feel warm and special, but sooo embarassed. Everything sounds worse when read out loud.
After skool i went to tennis practice, and i realized how much i suck. But then i thought, well, that was only the third time i've ever played tennis in m life, so its not that bad.
After that...rehearsal for Basically Broadway and then my piano leson. Umm, then the govt. board meeting: final one!
Well, I have the drawings on my hand, the texts to Erica, and the used up pen to prove how I kept myself busy. All i can tell about the meeting is that there was a crazy cat lady there, some ppl with giant charts, and so hacidics. Everyone was daring mike to put a sticker on one of their hats that read "property of the Town of Fallsburg" Even I was easily amused by that, which is only a statement of how bored i was. After that, Eric and I decided to go to Wal Mart even though none of us had money (i got my film back, and it cost 10 dollars!!jeez) so we managed to spend an hour there, looking at movies and V-games.
